Junkyard Brewing Company invites you to join us at the annual Rare Beer Picnic!

The Rare Beer Picnic is a beer sampling festival held in Moorhead, MN.

The focus of the Rare Beer Picnic is Aged, Soured, Infused beer. This year we invited some of the top breweries and friends in the brewing industry to bring their "Rarest" beers to share with you!

This is a festival unlike any in our area!

It is a smaller festival giving you and the participating breweries a more intimate experience. We ask that each participating brewery send an owner, a brewer, or someone that knows everything about their brewery. With limited space we limit the number of participating breweries and attendees. Part of the proceeds go to one of our sponsors, a nonprofit in Moorhead, The Rourke Art Museum.

Dust off the cowboy/cowgirl boots and hat! We are going to have a Western themed party!

We have teamed up with Pride and Joy Rescue to raise awareness and funds for caring for these majestic creatures!

Pride and Joy Rescue focuses on horses going to slaughter. "These horses are either surrendered, abandoned, negligent cases, among so many other reasons". Pride and Joy strives to save as many horses as it can to nurture, care for, and rehabilitate these horses so they are ready to go to a loving home.

Event Details:
The event is May 19th from 4-7pm.
-Dress up in Western theme for a chance to win prizes from Junkyard Brewing!
-Come pet Jude, the mini pony.
-Participate in a silent auction by Pride and Joy Rescue
-Junkyard will donate $1 for every pint sold during the event.
-Enjoy a slideshow by Pride and Joy Rescue

We hope this will raise awareness of what is happening to these horses and that there is hope for them through organizations like Pride and Joy Rescue!

Have you heard what all the buzz is about?
On Thursday, April 21st from 4-7pm, we're throwing a Bee's Butterflies and Brews Pollinator Patio Party in celebration of our pollinators.

We’ve partnered up with Clay Soil & Water Conservation District to help bring awareness to our community about pollinators, habitats, and urban conservation.

It wouldn’t be a bee party without a little bit of honey! For this event, we will have a special beer on tap with local honey from Three Bears Honey Co. called Money Honey.

You’ll have the opportunity to try:
-Money Honey: A Peanut Butter, Banana, & Honey Lager
Event Details:
-$1 of every pint sold will be(e) donated to a Pollinator Habitat Development in South Moorhead
-Family friendly and free to attend
-Sow pollinator seeds to take home with you
-Tree and honey giveaways
-Opportunities to learn more about pollinators… like the fact that bees style their hair with honeycombs (but seriously, you’ll learn real facts and tips to help keep the bee population healthy)

April 4th-More Local Monsters

If you think (math)+(pie)+(beer)=awesome, then this dinner is for you!

This beer dinner will feature Beer & Pie pairings selected by Nichole Henson from Nichole's Fine Pastry and Cafe, and Aaron Juhnke from Junkyard Brewing Co. Each guest will receive four tulips of beer, each paired with pie from Nichole's. Additionally, Nichole and Aaron will discuss the pies, the beers, and why they taste so good together.

We will be selling tickets for this event by the table, or group, rather than individually.

$60 - Table for 2 people (15 available) *These will be seated at a long high-top, so we can seat you next to friends if you'd like*

$120 - Table for 4 people (11 available) *individual tables and corners at the bar*

This event benefits the Fargo Moorhead Trailbuilders, a volunteer organization responsible for the development, maintenance, and snow grooming of the mountain bike trails in the FM area.

February 7th- Cocktails and Rip Gizzard: Local Drinks of Prohibition

We're teaming up with Feed My Starving Children [Fargo MobilePack] to raise money for those in need. Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization that coordinates the packaging and distribution of food to people in developing nations.
On Saturday, January 22th, we will be hosting a baked potato benefit. Stop in anytime from Noon to 5pm and enjoy a customized baked potato with your selection of toppings. We will also be donating $1 for every pint sold to FMSC!

A $5 suggested donation goes straight back to the organization so they can package meals for those in need.

Each packaged meal costs them less than 25 cents

This annual event is a great start to the giving season! Each year we ask you to bring donation items to the taproom where we collect them and bring them to be donated to Churches United!

We teamed up with SoleMOTION for our 5th Annual Junkyard Dash 5k race on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021 at 7PM!

We're not too serious about speed, but we are serious about having a good time and a few cold brews! Following the dash, join us at our beer garden near the finish line & celebrate with awards, prize drawings, food, and of course, beer! All participants will receive a commemorative Junkyard Dash pint glass and a complimentary pint of Junkyard beer from our tap list after crossing the finish line.

This epic beer run starts and finishes at Junkyard Brewing Co, and will take runners through the beautiful riverside parks of North Moorhead. Runners and walkers are all invited to come out for some fun.
